What are you going to eat for dinner?
Does this question strike fear into your heart? Do you stress over cooking, or finding the time to cook?
Meal planning and prepping is a great way to avoid dinner time anxieties and will help you eat healthier and save time in the long run.
Investing time and energy now for benefits down the line is a core element of many of our challenges. And in this case you do not have to wait too long for the payoff of your advance work.
Does it feel confining to be rigid about meals? A plan can still leave room for spontaneity. Consider the following:
- Monday:Meatless Meals- rotate between your favorite recipes
- Tuesday:Taco Tuesday - vary up the protein, try fish, beans, or even tofu as a base.
- Wednesday:Soup Night - from chili to split pea, so many ways to fill that bowl
- Thursday:Stir Fry Night - any blend of rice, veggie, and protein will work here.
- Friday:Fish Fridays - bake a salmon, smoke a trout, or sear a tuna. And of course, add veggies!
- Weekends:Recipe of the Week - experiment with a new recipe you find online
Does that seem so terrible? To make it more fun, add a freind!
