Longevity Assistant is a collection of tools intended to add
more life to
your life.
Now, this is not a promise that you will live to 150. It is, however, an attempt to help increase the odds for that to happen.
The Program
The Program is a collection of topics that you can consider adding to your life. Each challenge will focus on a key driver of longevity.
Longevity Assistant will focus one what you
eat,
move,
rest, and
connect.
Many of these ideas are not new. You already know them. The issue is that
we tend not do them. One reason may be a lack of time. Or our lives are so busy we simply forget to do these things.
To combat this, the key feature of the Longevity Assistant Program is giving you a way to set up time in your calendar to remind you to do these things. This is how you will literally add
more life to
your life.
Many of the challenges take very little time, and have zero or low costs.
Will it work?
Every suggestion will have a link to references and studies. You will be able to look into the research to see just how impactful a certain intervention may be.
At the end of the day, Longevity Assistant is a nudge. You are the one who has to do the work.
The hope is that by layering small incremental changes you begin to build healthier habits over the long run, and begin to see compounding effects as these changes create positive feedback loops.
The Origin Story
If you want to know more about the origins of Longevity Assistant, you can
find that story on the Insights blog.
Other Tools
There are other resources on the Tools page that do not involve creating calendar entries. They include a meditation timer, a farm finder, and more.
